A synthesis method of a new sweetener, including the following steps: at room temperature, aspartame (0.10 mol) is added to a reactor containing a reaction medium, dioxothiazinic acid (0.10 mol) is added under stirring, and a clear solution is obtained at first, and the solution is stirred for 30 min, and the solution slowly becomes turbid, until a large amount of white sediment is formed, the sediment is filtered with a funnel and washed with a small amount of cold water, and vacuum dried at 40 ºC overnight to obtain a white powder, that is, a new sweetener. The synthesis method of the invention has the characteristics of simple process, strong operability, being suitable for industrial production and high product quality. Application experiments show that the new sweetener has better thermal stability than aspartame at 70-80 ºC or higher temperature, and has more superior dissolution rate because of salt; Its sweetness is about 300-340 times that of sucrose.
